C'est quoi la comp\u00e9tition?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following two online competitions, S.O.N.I.A. decided to organize a small and friendly event: the Qu\u00e9bec AUV Challenge. The competition was created to help train the next generation of students while giving teams the opportunity to test their progress in a real competitive environment after months of remote development during the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams from across Qu\u00e9bec were invited to Montr\u00e9al for a weekend of competition, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. The challenges were inspired by the 2020 RoboSub competition, whose in-person edition had been cancelled due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are proud to announce that the competition was a great success. It was an incredible experience to compete in person and witness the progress and innovation of the participating teams firsthand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would like to sincerely thank NCSM HMCS Donnacona<\/a> for taking part in the competition. Their support throughout the event was invaluable, and we hope to collaborate with them again in future editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special thanks also goes to Aquad\u00f4me <\/a>for hosting the competition over the weekend, as well as to all the volunteers whose dedication made the event possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
